We all walk around with figurative armor in place, might as well wear some literal armor as well. This shield ring is almost large enough to deflect arrows, criticisms, and introspection. Battle worn, hand hewn, and ancient looking, it's somewhat of a statement piece. The nails, wood grain, rim, and armor buckle detail was carefully hand sculpted.
The shield is outfitted with a deadly little sword, also showing its own battle scars. While the ring is finished with a heavy antiquing, the sword blade is polished to a gleaming finish. Careful- while it isn't sharp enough to cut, that point will catch on pockets and fabric. It's not a subtle or apologetic piece of art to wear.
Measuring 1.5" long (38mm), the sword is the widest part of the band, which tapers to 4.5mm on the backside. Crafted in thick, sturdy, solid sterling silver, it's surprisingly comfortable to wear (other than that little sword tip). Available from a size 7 on up to as big as you need, sizes from 13 to 20 would be a custom cast. The shield ring is also available without the sword, contact us to order.
